BYU 2026 season tickets sold out before reaching general public selection. To be eligible to buy season tickets, you had to donate to the Cougar Club(equivalent of the Rockne Athletics Fund). This comes after large price increases in season tickets year over year. And people wonder why teams still go out of their way to schedule Notre Dame.

So true. I‘ve purchased season tickets of an opponent just to get ND tickets. I sold the other games for whatever I could get b/c the overall savings for the ND ticket was better than buying the ticket on the resale market.

BYU sold out its tickets last season as well. I don't think this is just an ND effect. BYU fans are some of the most passionate in the country. (Also, some of the most delusional, but that's another discussion.)

Now, getting a ticket to the ND game is going to cost you double or triple the normal price of a ticket. And that is directly related to why ND will always be desirable.

I think this game is going to be disgustingly expensive. BYU has many alums that do very well and this is essentially their super bowl with a team with high expectations.

Haven’t we struggled to sell out our own stadium?

To me its kind of amazing ND has sold out for so long given tiny campus that's not easy to get to flight wise. And lackluster, non-serious commitment or performance up until Freeman. I know BK got us to the title once but I think support wise, people around the program probably felt that was a unicorn year.

Freeman seems to have the admin committed and eventually if not now the people will feel it.

BYU set season ticket records last year. ND is not driving their season ticket sales. Winning is.

With Kingston gone, their 1-dimensional offense has become a .5-dimensional offense. With the departure of thier best recievers, they are going to need the new guys, including the freshmen Pula twins, to become threats. I dont think they will get through Arizona, TCU, and Iowa State unscathed. probably looking at a 20-unranked BYU team when we play, which is unfortunate for SOS.

Just jam the receivers, stack the box, and spy Bachmeier. It was always going to be an easy game imo. But now, it's becoming dangerously close to 4+ score blowout territory.
Arizona @ home, nah ... BYU wins. At TCU, meh, could be trouble. Iowa St. @ home the week before ND could be an issue for them. Where do they assign their focus ... Iowa St. or ND!? I hope to get tickets for that game in Provo and would love to see ND undefeated and the Mormons being undefeated or only one loss (helps our resume) for the Irish to kick their ass!.

We'll see.

They will have an experienced OL, so they will need them to consistently open holes for their RBs and QB to be successful. The receivers are young, and from what I hear, not physical. They are similar to many ND teams that we've had recently without the NFL OL.

The bigger reason why I gave my takes, is their defense. They lost their DC Jay Hill to Michigan, who ever since getting to BYU, fixed their defense which has carried them to success. Plus they lost a couple key guys on that side. But more importantly, their new DC does not instill confidence given his resume. His last time as a DC (co-DC), was at Virginia while they were winning/losing games 56 to 50.
