C'mon, that was a lousy choice by Floyd. He panicked. Go down and the clock stops.

you can say it's a lousy choice now, but there's no way floyd knew there would be 1 second left. that play was such a slow developing play that everybody on the field probably thought time had expired until they looked up.

With 11 seconds you figure it's either the endzone or somewhere near the sidelines. You can't blame him for trying to make a play.

although i wish we could have had someone running underneth floyd ala hook and ladder. maybe in an opposite direction as floyd..

What a heart braking loss. Floyd tried to do all he could to win that game and I don't blame him a bit. The reason we lost this game is 4 turnovers. It's not Floyd fault at all. I'm saddened but not surprised because this goes along with my 9-3, 8-4 prediction. We are not at the top yet guys nor do we need to be. IT IS COMING!!!

ya know, at the same time this sucks complete a$$, if time were out that would have been a hell of a try on Floyd's part to try and make something happen.....at least it wasnt a blowout, thats all that I asked for this year during the losses that will happen

We had five to's and gave up a third and 18 when we could have put the game away.......

nothing that happened in the last few minutes mattered in contrast to that

Why did we keep trying to go deep down the field with 50 seconds left and 30 yards to the endzone. We still even had our timeout left. With the cushion they were giving why not try a few 10 or 12 yard outs??

Is it just me or has ND tried a few too many all or nothing plays?

Were UNC's WR that good or did our CBs just have a bad game. I saw McNeil getting beat a lot today. Although it was a heartbreaker, Go Irish. Another game of experience and a week of rest always does a team good. Hopefully they come out of the gate against the Huskies like pitbulls.
