they seem fair based on past performance. i think Rudolph moves way up after the season and i think Blanton, B.Smith, and Walls moves into the rankings.

Agreed. I can see them having G-tate higher than MFloyd based on experience, and Floyd being hurt last year(missing games). Without taking anything away from G-Tate, because dude brings it every game and is a stud, but I think Floyd is a better WR.

Agree almost entirely. I would replace Blanton with Harrison Smith. Brian Smith is a STUD. My favorite current player, all heart.

Considering that these are post Spring ratings and Floyd and Tate didn't play a full Spring. ND emphasized the run in the Spring Game and Rudolph is sharing with Ragone and Fauria no surprise at all.

Keep in mind Harrison is at a new position so it's not reasonable for him to be ranked. Blanton makes a splash but again, how many games has he started?

And IRC Brian Smith was playing out of position last year.

I'd say the numbers are reasonable.


The post was about players but I notice they list coaches as well. Tenuta was the only ND coach listed ranked #18. I think he's higher although he doesn't hasn't had DC credit at ND to justify. Charlie has to be in the top OCs in reality even if he's a head coach. He has earned a ranking in Top 25 Head Coaches but he should be there by season's end.
