Notre Dame Player Rap Group

Something I have been following lately, even though they have been around for awhile. It's the offseason so I figured I would just share it. But four football players, Emeka Nwankwo, Armando Allen, Jamoris Slaughter, and Cierre Wood are in a rap group called D-Season. Here is a review of their first performance.

Some may look down upon it since two are still current players but I see it as a way to stay out of trouble or prevent getting arrested. To each his own.

Slaughter updates his twitter about this on a nonstop basis. I get rap. I grew up in the glory days of hip hop in the late nineties. Still, most players update their twitter about working out, going to class, or whatever. Slaughter ONLY talks about rap. Obviously I know that what a person tweets about is not necessarily a perfect reflection of their actual life, but I hope he hasn't forgot about football.

Yeah I noticed that too, and so does Nwankwo. Even though Slaughter is in contention for a starting spot. Maybe it is just his way of therapy but who knows

By purple dream im sure they are referring to nice, fluffy dreams. I mean they definitely arent referring to the popular drink mixed with codeine and they probably arent referring to 'super dank, sparkling buds' either....


(someone in my apartment started singing "purple drank" (not being able decipher "drank" from "dream") so I guess the song is catchy--and he just sang it again as he walked out of the room haha)

I'm a single mom with three kids...when I tweet it's usually something very profound...like as many curse words as I can cram into 140 characters, and a shout out to Southern Comfort or Jim Beam. Because I drink it, and they should be paying me for it.

And it's not a reflection of my real life at all.
