Anybody notice the announcers talking about Daniels dropping that TD pass because he may have been worried about hitting the wall?

This field was built with having occasional football games being played in mind...

There's plenty of room over there.

Anyone have an idea when tickets go on sale?

Summer 2015 for contributing alumni with the annual ticket lottery. I doubt any tickets make it out of the lottery for public sale.

I spoke to a friend who works in the development office and he told me they've never seen anything quite like the demand they've seen for this game, even this far in advance. The size and uniqueness of the venue might very well make this the hardest ND ticket to get outside of the 2012 Championship.
