Will not happen as long as we are under the NBC contract. It would interfere with their primetime schedule.

Night games with ND always worry me. Probably just cause that means its always an away game or bowl game but I just always feel better when they're playing in the afternoon.

I watched the video. Kind of amazing that rules allowed the offense to act like prima donnas and demand the crowd get silent. And have the refs and the rules supporting prima donna hood.

NBC is not the issue.

The ND Administration does not want it.

I have heard it is both. We have all seen how far ND is willing to go to make it a family type atmosphere, and a night game takes away from that. But also NBC does not want it either. They are making an exception for the Wash St game in San Antonio.

i can remember being at a night game a few years ago. It may not have been a true night game, but it was defiantly pitch black towards the end

About the video.... why would they throw a flag on the crowd? the scUM QB should deal with it. They have a bigger stadium anyways, don't get all mad that a smaller crowd makes more noise than your bigger home crowd lol. I would like this to happen at the USC game. That would just be friggen sweet

The latest a ND game has started at home since NBC took over is 3:30. Once you get to the end of October they move those games to 2:30. It may be dark by the end, but definately not a night game.

I guess it was a cloudy day. I can remember the stands being relatively empty, and it was towards the end of the season. I was probably around 10ish, so my memory isn't that good.

...

It was probably a game that started at noon but NBC commericals made it run past sundown.
