True, but at the same time if you have to bring extra guys to get to him, he's a master at getting it out quick so if the DB's can't shut down the short routes the pressure will never get there in time.

It has to be fast pressure agreed. I would still take leaving a guy for pressure because otherwise he will sit back and wait for that covered guy to get open. I also think the colts have what it takes to shut down the pats running game. Shut that down early and keep the pressure on and you will beat them.

Marvin lewis might be looking for a new job. If they lose today he will be 0-6 in the playoffs

No chance. Mike Brown is in love with Marv. If he wasn't getting fired after losing at home vs the Chargers last year, he's not going to get fired losing to a Colts team on the road with half of their top 10 players out with injury.

I wish though. That would be lovely.

You're probably right, but the thing about playing Peyton Manning is that there are few good answers to shutting him down. Even if you have a good game plan and execute well against them, a Peyton Manning lead team is still hard to beat.

The Bengals are stuck. If they fire Marvin, the new head coach is starting from square one with no control because Mike Brown is a jackass.

Marvin's got about 10% of the control that other head coaches have, and it's taken him 10 years to get it. And even then, it's only enough to build a playoff worthy roster.

I don't know if they beat Indy with all their weapons, but I still wonder what could have happened today if the Bengals had Marvin Jones, Aj Green, Tyler Eifert and Jermaine Gresham all on the field.

I can only hope Brown gives it up soon and gives his daughter control. She might hire a GM at least and give [head coach] some room to work.

Sooo...what about the colts chances in denver next weekend?? Idk what to expect, maybe Manning will choke in the playoffs. I think we have a good chance if we can get pressure on him

After today I think the chances are pretty good.
1. The Colts played today like they did earlier in the year.
2. They were close to coming back and beating the Broncos in the season opener, so they know they can play with them.
3. Luck seems to play better in the bigger games.
4. Colts corners especially Davis have been stellar. This makes the defense so much better.
5. If the suspect O line plays like today, I like our chances.
