Give me the best available WR. Originally I though WR/Edge/CB were equally important (slight edge to WR), but the way our OL got abused perhaps we need another piece there too.

this isnt directly at your Nuke, but living here in indy i heard almost all season how people didnt want Bell because he wasnt a team player, now im hearing those same folks say go get Brown. I don't know if i see a difference in one being team player vs the other.

AB is the best wr in the game, so his addition with TY would be crazy. But i feel like the Colts need a redzone WR. I know they had Ebron play exceptional this year, but Chiefs took him away easily in the redzone yesterday and that left the colts with no one. I mean Mo Allie Cox got the look, come on.

I still think the colts can manufacture enoguh pionts as is with current roster and the continued focus needs to be in the trenches and secondary. If they swing AB that would be amazing but he def doesnt fit the culture being built in Indy, IMO.

The Colts could use someone more dynamic than Inman opposite TY. To me this loss wasn't so much a difference in talent as much as it showed the real youth of the Colts across the board. If not the youngest team in the league they were very close. I just think they were stagestruck.

In the larger picture, who would have predicted that either the Chiefs or the Colts would have been in the Playoffs. In nfl.com's preseason Power poll, the Chiefs were ranked 17th and the Colts 32nd.

With all the offseason chatter around Patrick Mahomes, who's watching the store? In theory, the Chiefs' defense should be better with Eric Berry back and playing a nifty center field. Here's hoping he is the same player post-Achilles injury. That guy has been through enough, no? Most of the talent -- and money -- resides on offense. If Mahomes falters, it won't be for a lack of Legos. He has the pieces in Kareem Hunt, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and -- if you missed a few offseason items -- Sammy Watkins, too. My best guess is that Kansas City gets off to a really rough start (at Chargers, at Steelers, 49ers, at Broncos, Jaguars, at Patriots) but finishes a respectable .500 when the kid with the rubber arm turns it loose.

It's impossible to write about the Colts without mentioning Andrew Luck. But let's try! (Even though we already failed.) Marlon Mack and rookie Nyheim Hines should develop into a fine tandem. Ryan Grant flashed in Washington, though Donte Moncrief he's not. (Of course, the latter couldn't stay on the field.) Signing former Lions first-round pick Eric Ebron was a worthwhile free agency swing if the tight end seizes his second at-bat. The interior offensive line is relying on kids but suffered a loss when Jack Mewhort retired. Indy's defense is, well, it leaves a bit to be desired. On paper. That's why they play the games, though.
