The NFL should really seed teams for the playoffs.

It's really bullshit that a 12 win team has to travel across the country to play a team that got into the playoffs on the last day of the season with a 8-7-1 record and play in the coldest playoff game in history.

I don't have a problem with the seeding. If the 49ers wanted a home game then they shouldn't have lost to the Seahawks the first time.

The Seahawks should have nothing of do with the Packers who the Niners had already beat. If anything the Packers should have had to come here.

That's an awful way of looking at it. If they wanted to win the division and get a bye sure, but they shouldn't be going on the road to face an 8-7-1 team.

It's the rules guys. Maybe they change it but for now it's how it's done. Why do people (not saying anyone on here is) act shocked that the seeding is the way it is? It's like when my students get mad when their friends get picked up for weed. You know what the law is! Why is anyone surprised?! Just like the seeding in the NFL playoffs. You know how it's set up. Deal with it.

NFL could move to an NBA type seeding. All the division winners still get into the playoffs, but better record dictates home field. It would still provide incentive to win your division while also allowing teams with a better record (and in the 9ers case a very difficult schedule) the chance to host a playoff game.
