Bernard is going to be a stud. This team will always be pass heavy when Weis is coaching, but Bernard will be the star of the team. That's my prediction.

It will be a nice transition after 2010 - from screaming "Go Armando Go!!" to 2011 'Go Giovanni Go!!"

I think that Wood-Gray-Riddick-Bernard will be an absolutely amazing combo and it may be enough to make us a running team.

Paskorz is a possibility at FB next year. Shit he'll be a senior. I do not see Hughes being effective at FB, nor do I think he'd be happy there.

What about linebackers that aren't getting a lot of PT but have potential? Anthony McDonald? A lot of that decision probably weighs in on what happens at LB next year. B Smith is the only shoe in. Manti could or could not be around. God knows what will happen with Fleming and Hasey.

We're looking far ahead here, but right now on 3rd and short...put Stu in damnit

McDonald has impressed the coaches bt he is a year behind because of his injury. He still has alot of potential in the middle. Filer could move to DE but we will see.

Well, I thought James did a very good job lead blocking tonight. He's still not a pure fullback, and it was against a bad team, but he looked good.

Aldridge is a good fullback against Nevada and Wazzu

What other games has he actually been used more than 1 or 2 plays?

He played a good number of plays against those 2 teams and did fine. Against USC I only remember him being in for a few plays, he got a first down on one carry, got stuffed on another. He only got in for the last few plays of BC. He was injured for all the other games. So maybe the coaches didn't think he was good enough to put in, but more likely they just didn't use formations that he would play in. So we still don't know if he is a decent fullback or not.

I think I already posted that the problem is not the particular individual who is playing fullback, but the fact that if the fullback comes in on a sure running play, all the defense has to do is key on him and stuff the hole. "Where the fullback goes, you go." Seems too obvious to me.

I thought I noticed one play against WSU where the TB actually didn't follow the fullback but did a cutback. Otherwise, it seems too obvious to me.

Bottom line is we still don't have a true fullback. And yes when they line up in the I with #34 at fullback they know what's coming up.

So I say again...put Wenger at guard, put Stew at fullback, and push.

The defense will definitely know what's happening, but I want to see if they'd be able to stop it
