Notre Dame Coach Brian Kelly is no stranger to prep football talent in Ohio. The former Cincinnati Bearcats coach signed five prospects from the Buckeye State a week ago for his first Notre Dame recruiting class, and he had his share of success in Ohio while at the helm of the Bearcats.
So it is anything but a surprise that Kelly is making an early bid for some of the top 2011 prospects in Ohio. Over a half dozen Ohioans already have a scholarship offer from the Fighting Irish and that list is expected to increase by one any day now.<!-- end free preview text -->
