ND v UCLA on ABC?

Gettysburg - I'm in lanco.... Is there a place in lancaster that is a good sports bar for the irish? I don't exactly frequent bars around here and I'd imagine they are all PSU

No idea man...I don't get over that way much except for work every once in a while or just passing through on my way to visit the parents in the Philly burbs.

we called directv and they told my dad that you can only order it for the season and not weekly. we're calling back and referring them to the site you linked earlier and we're gonna give em shit. maybe the person he talked to was just stupid. let me know if you've got any problems.

we called the same number and got a different guy. he said there are 15 different call centers around the country and the guy we got when we called the first time must've been new or he was an idiot. we got the gameplan and he checked to see if the notre dame game was blacked out in our area for us and it wasn't so everything is a go.

And PSU fans really suck. I don't blame you for not wanting to hang out with them.

I know it's not much help but my local carrier is showing the ND game at 2am on ESPNU..... going to record it and watch it on sunday.....stuck with the radio for now....

I called DTV today and told them I wanted to get gameplan for this weekend only. Guy asked which game. Told him UCLA/ND. He asked if I was a UCLA fan. I said, No, ND. He said, ah cool, me too, I'm going out for the Navy game. He put me on hold and came back and said they'd have to charge me and additional fee if he did it over the phone. I asked if there was any other way to do it. He said yep, you can do it from the web page.....here's the good info:

Go to the Directv website
Click on TV Listings
Put in yer zip code
Navigate the program guide until you find the game you want
Click on the "order" link next to the game
It takes you to the login screen
Login
It asks if you want to bill it to your account or enter a credit card number
Enjoy a beer, you're done

I did so....checked 777, bingo. It was working. Sorry I didn't post this earlier.

I'd have spent alot more than $22 at a sports bar..... :)

At least at home I have better beer, a bigger tv and can actually hear the commentary.

a) drank way more than a couple of beers

b) ended up getting it on gameplay, just made more sense
