ND-Pitt TV Coverage

Usually in this situation, one of the games will be on ESPN or ESPN2 and the other will be on ABC, right? Or will it be a split coverage map game, and only one be seen????

I'm pretty sure it will be the same as this past weekend. You will get the *local game* on ABC and the alternate will be on ESPN2. For example, I am in Louisiana so I got the Texas OSU game on ABC, with USC Oregon on ESPN2. Well not ESPN2, it was the funky alternate channel right below ESPN2 on DirecTv. For cable you don't have to deal with the blackout bullshit.

Also, I'm pretty sure ABC has the rights to Notre Dame away games. So with the massive fanbase of Notre Dame I think it will be broadcast so the entire nation can view the game on one of the channels.

Negative. I put my seven month old daughter in her Notre Dame dress (until she fits into the ND cheerleader outfit her great grandpa got her!) and we watch Notre Dame every week. I'm introducing her to the wonders of Notre Dame football and I can't afford a week off because her mom is a Hawkeye fan. There is competition in the house for our daughter's football loyalty.

If you look on the ESPN site under "TV Listings" on the bottom right corner of the page and scroll to November 14 ABC has 8 PM set aside for college football. There are only 2 games currently scheduled for 8 PM on 11/14/09, ND-Pitt and OSU-TT. Unless they have another game reschedule their start time or ABC puts on a movie of the week the ND game has to be on in the majority of the country.

I don't know why they are putting the Game Plan logo next to the game on their college football schedule. They probably are hoping we all call our cable companies and buy the package in fear that we miss the game.

Just found out its a sell/out and my Pitt alum friend cant get me a ticket. I'll be watching on TV thankfully without the 'NBC boys'. Will tell everyone as a guy who grew up in Western Pa this one would be one to see in person as Pitt has nice following but the Irish are revered by many back home and the subway alums will be there. Man it will be a game to see if you could get tickets. I love Notre Dame but this one may go to Pitt-hope I am wrong!!!!!!!
