ND Goalie David Brown signs with Penguins

ND Goalie David Brown has signed with Penguins in an undisclosed deal and he will likely be going to their AHL affliate in Wilkes - Barre - Scranton.

Nice...I'll be able to see him when they come in to play the new Cleveland AHL squad...out of Utah I think.

Brown has been doing awfully well with the pens, hopefully he can start for opening night.

That's good news. With their firepower and young talent they could be a up & coming team the next couple of years.

He was actually sent to Wilkes Barre early in camp. However, the back up goalie has not done well in preseason. I saw Brown play in person last year when ND play in Pittsburgh against RMU. He made two great saves in that game which ND won I believe 4 -2. He looked better in person that when I watched on TV. Fluery should be a mainstay in goal for years to come for the Pens, but you never know with goalies they can lose it in a heatbeat.
