McGraw's Irish moved to 5-0 with a 76-54 win over Penn at the Palestra. Four Irish players hit double figures led by McBride. ND again dominanted the boards led by McBride and Braker with 9 each. Achonwa recovering from meniscus surgery played 14 minutes scoring 4 and adding 3 rebounds.

ND's next game is on 11/26 against DePaul in Purcell.

Loyd had a double double, 30/11 shooting 12-15 from the floor and 2-3 from the arc as The Irish Women got win #800. McBride added 18, Mabry had 17 as ND beat CMU 106 - 72 for win #10. The 10-0 start is the third best start in the program's history.

Saw them play a few times. Thought they were better offensively than last year. A lot more depth and weapons. They have to clean up a few things on defense, but the schedule is set up for them to do just that for the second part of the season and still be undefeated. The 2 freshmen contributors (Allen, and Reimer) are already phenomenal players. I think ND could be undefeated going in the tournament if they play to their talent the rest of the way. Obviously, there is some tough games ahead with Duke twice, Maryland, North Carolina, and Tennessee, but I like the Irish in each of these games. The fact that we won't possibly see Uconn until the tournament bolds well for the lady Irish. This should be a spectacular squad in all facets of the game by the time March comes. Should be another great season for Muffet and company. Go Irish.

This team is soooo deep. They have so many people that contribute off the bench, especially Taya Reimer and Michaela Mabrey. I think Jewell Loyd is one of the best guards in the country.

Notre Dame has been a thorn in UCONN's side for the past 2-3 years, they can definitely beat UCONN this year.
