Darren McFadden is awesome. But Arkansas's secondary is about terrible. If the Irish play them in a bowl game, Quinn will be licking his lips. The Razorbacks have such a gimmicky offense... it's kind of fun to watch... reminds me of backyard football. LSU's offense is pretty terrible in and of itself. It looked anemic at times. Les Miles is not a good coach.... but he was good enough in this one.

Gotta beg to differ. LSU was 11-2 last year with wins over Florida and Auburn, during the post Katrina chaos, a big distraction since so many LSU players are locals, and Baton Rouge doubled in size due to refugees.

This year, 10-2 with wins at Tennessee and at Arkansas. Still a shot at a BCS bid. Another bowl win and it's back-to-back 11 win seasons. How can you say he's not a good coach?

If ND played LSU's road schedule, they'd likely go 0-4.

I really hope ND goes to the Sugar Bowl, and that LSU is the "crappy" SEC team they play.

How does your starting QB play like Dick did and almost win the game? That McFadden kid is DAMN good. I'd love for my Bears to get their hands on him.

LSU has some of the top talent in the nation. The players there are so incredibly skilled, yet they squeak by Ole Miss (2-7... now 3-7 after they beat Miss. St)? Les Miles STILL underachieves in my mind. He's just like Coker and Fulmer... loaded with talent but lacking in production. To me, that's good recruiting and bad coaching

On a reflective side note.. Notre Dame won at Tennessee two years ago when UT was ranked 3rd.... TY WILLINGHAM WON AT NEYLAND STADIUM WITH UT RANKED 3rd. I can't believe that really happened...

You can't say the irish would go 0-4. I honestly do believe that Notre Dame could match LSU's 2-2 road schedule record. I respectfully disagree with you masion
