Will McKamey of Navy Midshipmen dies in coma after collapsing - ESPN

Passed away at 19 years old after collapsing during practice and 3 days in a coma. Apparently had one head injury in high school with no visible signs of trauma. Scary stuff.

I'm very surprised he was admitted to the Academy with a past head injury. I considered applying to the USNA and USAFA and the recruiter told me not to bother because I wouldn't get in with a concussion in my medical history.

Hes from here in Knoxville. A lot of heavy hearts in this area. His father was his high school coach. Very sad.
