National Bowl Games Thread

Well, this year's bowl games are already underway so I figured I better get this thing going.

Utah was able to knock off Navy Thursday night, and FAU picked up their first ever bowl win in their first ever bowl game last night over Memphis.

Then today UC made Stoney and Scooper's day by beating Southern Miss and currently New Mexico leads Nevada 14-0.

I feel sorry for the dozen or so Seminoles who DON'T cheat, steal sneakers, and the like. When is the press going to hold Bowden accountable for this program? Seems like he's had a free pass for decades!

I hope they wallop the Horns. I'm behind, 3-4, against my buddy in our bowl pool. We picked each and every game. Once one team was taken, the other guy got their opponent by default, so that we wouldn't have virtually the same picks. The winner gets nothing, but the loser gets the "Bob Davie Award". It's a framed, signed picture of Bob Davie that has to be displayed in the open, in your house. (no hanging it on the inside of a closet door, or the basement, or the garage) I've had that stinking thing all year, and am looking forward to seeing him suffer a little this year.

I feel sorry for the guy. After they've shown the play about 6 times, you can tell he didn't even touch the ball. I'd be willing to bet all of my vbucks that he's praying that Texas wins.

The UCF v. Miss State game is the most boring ... I hate to call it football... game I have ever watched. Its painful. 3-3 until 1:54 seconds left in the game when Miss State finally scored the first touchdown. Multiple field goals were missed in the process.

That was mediocre football at it's finest. I watched, but maust say that I didn't enjoy watching that game in the least.

WHAT'S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR Bowden to get held to account for the FILTHY program he's been running in Tallahasee for God knows how long? The broadcasters are acting like the 30 playrers who got suspended had FOOD POISONING or something ! How many times do the Seminoles have to flout every principle of college football integrity before SOMEONE points the finger at the bullshit artist who's running that program? What, does Bowden have photos of ALL these guys?

sorry Southern, there'll be no living with the SEC fans after this bowl season. So far they're 5-1 with the Michigan/Florida and LSU/OSU games stil pending.

Miss State, Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky and Auburn all won their bowls. Arkansas got whooped on. Michigan is holding their own and lead 21-14 at half time.

Now what the SEC fans won't admit is that every single win was a lucky win, where the game was essentially decided by a lucky plays/turnovers/non-calls in the favor of the SEC winner in the last 2 minutes. Yes a win is a win, but these were hardly dominating performances for the ESPN-ordained best conference in the world (that's right I said world) when you consider they were facing lowly Big12, Conf USA and BigTeleven opponents.

Mizzou is taking it to Arkansas pretty good. Tony Temple has proven to be the best back on the field, not McFadden. Mizzou's handling of Arkansas is just confirming to me that OU should be in the NC game not LSU.
