I'm enjoying my time hear and might stick around for some college football talk. I figure I should introduce myself and explain my story...
I grew up in Tallahassee, Florida going to FSU games as a kid and watching Deion Sanders run up and down the field. I am actually a huge Florida State fan. My family moved to Greensboro, NC in 1990 and when FSU joined the ACC in 1991, we decided to get Wake Forest season tickets in both football and basketball. I love college football and all of the Florida residents on here can attest to this... college football in Florida is everything. I don't care if it's Eastern Michigan vs North Dakota School for the Blind... if it's college football, I want to see it! With that said, we were stoked to have season tickets to Wake and would go to damn near every home game. I can count how many Wake Forest home games I have missed since 1991 on 1 hand. I was in the stands for one 1-10 season, two 2-9 seasons and three 3-8 seasons. Watching Wake Forest grow and become a team that teams can't just roll over has been downright amazing. Now, you can't just stroll into Winston Salem expecting a win. That was not the case pre-2001. What Jim Grobe has done has been exciting to watch. Wake Forest winning the ACC in 2006 was incredible. Wake Forest... ACC Champions? WHAT?! haha
For those curious... I still root for FSU when they play Wake Forest.
