Hey guy's. I found video of me 16 years ago playing freshman football. It was the first year I had ever played a sport. I just wish I could find the next few years as they were much much better.

I thought you guy's would have a good laugh watching a fellow 31 year old Irish Envy brothers past highlight reel.

good reliving old glory days isn't it?? I was a DB/SE too and was pretty damn good but that stupid little kid I used to be up and quit after starting Varsity as a sophmore.... I would kick my young ass if I had the chance...

the vid is pretty sweet.. what is with Phil Collins??? Like the second music choice a little better... I like the hook and ladder at the end... you had some wheels... I would have run you down though old man... this white boy could move...lol and #11 is a much sexier number than 40

But I don't think you could have run me down. I had ligit 4.4 speed. I was never ever ran down. Once I hit the corner if the field was green ahead it was over. Now I can't run at all cause this damn arthritis in my feet. Makes me mad all the time.

Yea It's funny man I used to hang out with one of my black team mates. When we would go out on the weekends and run into some of his friends I did not know. He would somehow always get me into a race. We always left with a little spending money.

LOL! my best friend from high school and to this day is black and used to do the same thing... he also would get us into pick up BBAll games... we thought we were the shit... like wooddy and wesley in white men can't jump... except I was the only one who could dunk, he's a little guy... anyway... this is TOO FUNNY...

anyway, hers a story...just a month ago I played a pickup football game (only white guy there) and only my best friend and one other friend from college was there that I knew or that knew me....two black guys I don't know are caps and start picking of course they look right past me... one of them picks my friend from college and the next pick my buddy speaks over the cap and say "we'll take Aaron!"... needless to say I torched them and made an impression... sounds like you and me have a lot of common experiences...

cool little stories, I went to Victor Valley High school in Victorville CA. my fresh year we won one game... and double OT thiller against our biggest rival in front of 5,000+ ...

my soph year we won league and went to the semi's of the CIF playoffs where we were steamrolled by Bloomington who had Ronnie Lott's son as QB... the cool thing was my dad played against Ronnie Lott in school and scored a TD on a slant rout while covered by him back in 75ish... I sacked Ronnie's son for a safty for two of our 11 points in the game...

Also played against TJ housmanzadah (he went to one of my schools rivals) my fresh year with MUCH worse results... I had him twice if mem. serves and he scored twice... Although it never stuck with me I remembered the name and was informed AV high's old wide out was indeed him.....

and played Corey Benjamen (Former Chicago Bulls player and Fontana high/OSU standout) and put up a double double... but he dunked on me so bad it woul;d have ruined the day at the time had we not won that game clinching the league title here in the Inland Empire... but hey it's still a good story I can tell my students who ask about me days o' glory

I played at Buckhorn Highschool in New Market, Alabama. That's just outside Huntsville.
Funny you mention Victorville. My company moved me to Cali in Feb. I was working in Ontario
we have several guys from work that live there in Victorville.
My doctor put me out on disability though because of how bad my arthritis has gotten. I came back to Alabama to be with my family. I like it much better here.
I am about to be fired tomorrow because my work is telling me I have to come back even though I am completly disabled.
It really sucks that they can do that to someone and get away with it.
