Larry Kehres of Ohio's Division III Mount Union is stepping down after 27 seasons as coach. The best winning percentages in NCAA football history (minimum 10 seasons at 4-year colleges):

best small school coach in history of sports no question in my mind....not to mention a very well liked gentleman to high school coaches across the state.

I don't know this guy, but I have talked to a couple guys that played for him, and by all accounts he was a great guy, and was at the top of the coaches with integrety list, too.

I'm glad I got the chance to play for coach kehres. Just a great humane being. He cares about every single player whether you were a terrible freshman or a star. He really took the time to get to know everyone. But you never want to get on his bad side ;)
