But it won't be a hairball, and ND will be right to be confident.
MSU isn't any good. Some of their players are ok, some are even very good. But the team itself doesn't appear to be any good this year. They'll give ND their best but I don't think they stay within 3 touchdowns.
Sparty to cough up a hairball, and so ensure that ND goes to Least Lansing even more overconfident that ususal.

They sucked last year too, but that didn't stop them from beating ND.
Now that team was FLYING last year before they f'd up the Michigan game, and f'd up the next week against Ohio State. They should probably have won both of those games, and from there, who knows? But they DID fall apart in those two games, and then they tanked the entire rest of the season, so that ignorant fans could say "Haha ND lost to a 5-6 terrible MSU team." No, ND lost last year to a very good MSU team, which was not the same team that ended the season. However, it appears that MSU is the same terrible team right now that they were after Ohio State last season. In other words, this year, Sparty sucks. John L. Smith is on his way out, because they're not going to recapture the magic they had before they blew the Michigan game last year.
ND will roll this team.

Just wanted an outsiders opinion on this. Im sure you Irish fans are hoping to catch some of the game...and checkup on how MSU is looking.
Anyway, what do you expect from this game?
Am I missing something I thought we were playing Michigan this weekend not Michigan State so who really cares what Michigan State is doing this weekend?
