most anticipated game?

obviously all the games are gonna be kicka$$ but there are a few games that i really can't wait to see, irish as well as others:

-ND v msu - i really want to get some revenge on dantonio, i just don't like him.
-sc v osu - since they both can't lose i think this may be the 1st game i pull for sc.
-ND v usc - we should at least compete, probably our best chance to win since 05'.
-miami v uf - pulling for the canes in this one, sick of that poacher urban and the gators.
-uga v asu - pretty intriguing matchup.

and my number #1 most anticipated game:

ND v sdsu - lets get it goin already!!!!!

wow, I actually agree with you. for me SDSU is really not a big game. If we can beat Michigan(assuming we beat SDSU) we will be in for a 9-3, 10-2 year IMO. If we lose to Meatchicken I am expecting 7-5 or 8-4.

It's gotta be SDSU for me. It's going to be the first season opener I've ever attended. If we get off on the right foot here, (which we will) it will lead us to a very possible win vrs. the dreaded skunkbears. Think of it if you will, Notre Dame 2-0 to start the season. That alone has got me thinking we are on the verge of pulling out some other big games this season,(USC-Pitt).

I think SDSU is a trap game, although they are focusing on this game for two weeks. I think that most of the players and maybe some of the coaches(definately Charlie Weis) is looking past SDSU and at Meatchicken. We all know how hard of a worker Charlie Weis is and now that he is not calling plays, he has a little more time on his hands to scout other teams, which he often does two weeks ahead of the game. The game against SDSU is the biggest game that most of the SDSU players will play in their lives, so i am sure they are going to come in pumped.... WE must match their intensity!!!!!!!!!

Best way to win this game is 40 carries by the three running backs, smashmouth football, which it sounds is the gameplan.

I know SCUM is suppose to be down this year but their defense will keep them in a lot of games they should not be in!!! Their defense will get them 4-5 wins in the Big10 easy! Ground & Pound both of the first (2) games!!! I am hoping Jimmy does not throw over 15 times either game!!!!

Although I agree with you that this could be a trap game, especially if we play anything like the team we put on the field last year, SDSU is really not a very good team. I live only a short distance from San Diego and they just are not very good. They might come out fired up, but they will get stomped in South Bend! I am excited for this game because it is the first of the season and those are always special, but I do not think it will be close. Plus the Aztecs have a myriad of injuries to many different players so you wil have second and third string players in a lot of positions.

The non-ND game I am most excited for is the USC-OSU game. The best outcome for me would be a comet hitting the Coliseum, wiping out both teams. If that doesn't happen, I am really hoping McSweatervest and the Buckeyes take the Trojans apart. If all goes well, the jock itch-infested Trojans will lose to Viginia on Saturday and then get smoked by OSU and start the season 0-2! I can dream can't I???

I can't wait for the Pitt game only because I just found out that my father and I are going to go together. I'm also excited for the Michigan game. One of my roommates is a Michigan fan and there has already been a load of trash talking.

ND vs Navy, I was so embarrassed that ND lost to Navy last year that I can't wait til ND gets back to blowing them out again this year.
