Thanks for broaching the subject.

Somebody, Steve I suspect, has been updating the prospects that commit to ND or eslewhere but there doesn't seem to be much else done regarding board maintenance.

Update the Front Page

The Spring Game hasn't been coming around the corner for 2-1/2 months.

Steve being made a MOD was new in Feb.

Nothing new since then in the ND world?

Technical Issues

I PM MODs about technical issues. And mostly been referred from one guy to another with no resolution. I used to be able to type in color and post pictures on this board not any more. I can go back to posts of mine here that are 3 years old and still see those features but can't use then today.

I sent a PM requesting a subsection be created for The Recruiting Class of 2011 some time ago. Still not there. I suspect that might be more than the typical MOD is authorized to do. I know when I was a MOD here, I couldn't do it. No authorization. Svoboda (the owner at the time) was the only one that could. I'd shoot him a PM or post a note in the MOD Forum and it was usually done in a day.


This board is suffering neglect. Benign or otherwise, it's still neglect.

Another board member and I PM'd each other just the other day on this very subject. It's actually quite embarrassing, looking at the front page. Some ND boards have like 15-20 mods (I'm not kidding; when I registered to post at DD the other day, they asked if I wanted to be a member or a moderator. Just kidding DD...mad love), and we have like 1 mod who is here once in a while. Exceot when I posted about GH's ginormous ego, then ACamp quickly came back around and closed it up.

And just wait until the trolls from MSU, MI, USC etc start coming around. Then it's a free for all and that's when I split, 'cause there is just no arguing with an a-hole troll. It's just a waste of friggin' time.

So what's it going to be? Who's the owner anyways? Something should be done...

What does being a mod entail? I'd do it, but to be honest, I'm not a message board guy. The only message boards I post on is this and ISD. Not any other teams, not any other sports. (Not a big fan of message boards to be honest, but this is the way we get our info nowadays, and I'm addicted to ND football). So what I mean is, what do I need to do to be a mod? Who's the owner, how do I get in contact with him, etc? I have no problem doing it; but I have no clue how to go about it. I think BGIF would be a great mod; but if he doesn't want to do it, I'll do it. Hell, we can both do it. Just let me know how...

Ummmm I believe I have asked to be a mod but nobody likes me anymore. lol lol. Matter of fact we had a whole thread on NDOM being a mod. If I were mod I would take care of the problem before it exists. he he he he heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

The guy who told everyone there was definitly going to be at least 4 commits at the Blue and Gold game and knew from an "inside" source. For the record we got none.

This place is a ghost town. It is the same 5 people typing. Nothing is ever updated. Odds are, our next commit doesn't even have a profile yet (Bobby S, or Nix, or others)

This place is officially dead.

It is ALWAYS slow... The same 5 people post.


Nothing has been updated for MONTHS...

I used to come on here for information (thus look at my join date) but notice the people in the know who used to post no longer are here. The reason no one responds to people's PM is because there are no MODS here. This site has been given up on. It is an orphan

Swiegert - I did a profile for him a couple of weeks ago but saw no point in posting it as he hadn't been on campus. With the scholarships out to WRs I expected if interest developed it would be a DB. Either way a crowded field. I believe Polish Irishman opened a profile for him.

I tried to for a long time. Look at my bankroll. I tried to help and contribute but one SoCal left this place fell apart. I dont have the time to do anything, nor do I claim to be in the know.
