It's been said that he knew ahead of time that he was out of Colorado which makes it even more queer that he pitched tonight. Hell, they had a guy warming up next to him in the bullpen during pre-game for crying out loud. That's just a bit odd...

Pitching him makes no sense to me unless they weren't sure Cleveland would come up with the pieces they wanted they got word and then pulled him.
I'm just glad the Harden trade fell through when he's good he's good just can't stay healthy anymore.

I haven't followed the tradetalks but am under the assumption that Nova is the prime bait in any trade. He won his 9th game tonight with a 4.01 ERA. He's only 24 and his more development to do but I'd take him over Burnett, Garcia, and until he shows he's mended and up to speed, Hughes.

Do the Yankees need Bell that desperately?

Meh I'm indifferent about them getting bell. He'd be nice, but they don't need him.

They need to get a lefty reliever and another starter or 2(which is unlikely). With the current staff they have Boston would absolutely have no problem beating them in a 7 game series

Yankees don't need Bell desperately, but I wouldn't mind having him. Joba is done for the year and Soriano just got back from the DL. I would def like having Bell as insurance to go along with Robertson and MO.

I wouldn't trade Nova either. I like him more than most Yankees fans do though. I would trade Montero though and his name has come up a lot. Montero is prime bait over Nova at this point.

I agree with Kpenn that we need a left reliever and a #2 starter, but there isn't anyone out there...I would also like to pickup a bat, that is a DH and could play outfield and or first.

Anyways looks like the Sox got Bedard in a 3 team deal with the Dodger and Mariners as well as Fields I remember Bedard don't know much about Fields so AL west fan bases any knowledge appreciated.
Yankees didn't make a move doesn't surprise me they are coming up to needing another core four.
I'd say the winners are more than likely the Indians if Ubaldo gives them a shot in the arm.

Yeah, that was nuts. Im looking forward to when the Phillies get revenge later on in the season. I'm surprised that it got as bad as it did because it looked like Victorino was showing restraint.

I'm just happy that they're kicking their *** right now.
