Michigan ranked last among Big Ten football teams for Academic Progress Report scores released by the NCAA on Tuesday.

However, Michigan’s score of 951 represents a 23-point improvement over its score from two years ago.

HLS's Bayou Irish just posted an article today on the differences between APR and GSR.

'Bama and OSU have higher APR scores than ND. I hate to defend Michigan, but I won't take shots at them based on the APR. It's a worthless stat.

Look at IU kicking some *** with that 1000 score. Their football program is fine academically, now they just need to get a defense. :)

But ya, Whiskey is right, APR doesnt mean that much. :(
