It really bugs me how everyone completely disregards us beating UM in 05 in ann arbor. I don't care if they ended up having a down year, that was still a big win. But yea, Mark May, at least he gets lots of attention for himself.

Now thats what I'm talking about. Very good point Junkhead. I'm the same way. If I see Mark Gay while channel surfing I will quickly turn the channel. I wont waste my time watching that Jack Rag. I dont care if we go 10-2 or even 9-3 or if we even go unbeaten Mark Gay will say "well all the teams they beat had down years" He always has some pathetic excuse. He's not even worth my tube sock I used to beat off in as a teenager. (Ok so what, I still do it now and I'm 30) J/K by the way. anyway Mark Gay can kiss my arse.

i watch him because i think it's funny. and i watch him to make sure i'm caught up on what he says, so i can come on here 2 minutes later and read a new topic about it. just trying to stay current!

I just cant wait for the video montage at the end of the season that HAS to open up with his idiot comments during the first College Gameday. "If the Irish win two games out of the first 8, Ill vote CW as coach of the year." You have to know THAT will draw some scorn.

Absolutyely CLEARWALL. How is Notre Dame NOT going to win more than 2 games out of their first 8 anyway? Notre Dame will NEVER go start a season 2-6.
Georgia Tech. Win. Its at home and they are a beatable team.
@Penn State. Win. Yes I said Win. Tough environment but we will find a way to win.
@Michigan. Loss. Im sorry people but I'm being realistic here.
Michigan State. Win. New coach and charlie promised he wouldnt lose to the likes of Michigan State or Boston College anymore.
@Purdue. Its Purdue people. We smack them every year anyway. WIN
@Ucla. Toss up. Could go either way. But to be safe I say loss.
Boston College. Win. (see Michigan State theory)
Usc. Loss. I'm not even going there.

So according to my calculations Notre Dame will be 5-3 Maybe 6-2 and my Calculations add up to this. 5-3 or 6-2= SHUT THE FUCK UP MARK GAY!

Oh and by the way. Notre Dame will finish overall with a 9-3 Possibly a 10-2 record.

Actually, I did look this up a while back, and it has happened. I think like 5 times in the history of ND football has the team started 2-6. But the good news is, it has happened only once since like 1960. I forget what the records were. I think it was 2002 or something. And we've only finished 1-7 once, in like 1920 or 1913, something like that. So yeah, odds arent very good for him to keep his foot out of his mouth.

What kills me is when people say "beat a top 10 Team" Well after you beat a top team then they are not a top team b/c they just lost a game. Mark May is a complete moron and is making up for Trev Alberts being gone. ESPN has to have at least 0 blithering idiot on all of their shows. Kind of like a comic relief.
