I'm more mad at your posting style. You are an ass. I actually agreed with your thoughts on Tobias. I made a post early on this year where I thought his performance was concerning. Especially concerning was a noticeable lack of fire to compete for the ball in the air. The difference between you and me is that I make a point, speak my mind, and move on. I don't feel an incessant desire to make the same point over and over and over and over. Again, this is why people don't like you.

He was best player on the field first half vs duke, so he has that potential.

He's not playing bad enough to say absolutely pull him completely, i said i'd prefer he plays a lot less, but still warrants playing until someone shows they can do better.

On the other hand, DJ Brown is playing so bad, you just have to bench him for anyone, i think henderson is bad, but might as well play him. Carter is the one that needs to get up to speed fast.

Marist did an excellent job spying Duke’s QB so he didn’t hurt us much with his legs. I feel like he did with NC State’s guy too.
That’s an enormous risk with Caleb Williams and not sure I want to turn that job over to a freshman with so little experience.
Marist is a lousy tackler though, I’d agree, and makes too many mistakes for a guy of his experience. And I’m generally ready to move on to the younger LBs. Maybe after we play the best offense we’ll see all year?

I can agree with that. If fans are all on the same page w/ Marist after Saturday it’ll mean SC got beat or SC boatraced ND

He should have stopped TD vs Henderson with OSu, he had angle but is wayyy too slow, he should have had 2 picks vs osu, 1 was super easy that would have sealed the game.

Vs duke he missed a bunch of tackles second half

Vs louisville he missed a tackle that would have made a long td run just a 15 yard gain. He missed a tackle in the hole later on that would have been minimal gain, instead of 21 yd td run.

Only play he's made all year was pick vs nc state late that golden schemed up perfectly like the pick opportunity vs osu.

Kiser as a first-round pick was mostly brought up by people saying he was overrated. I don’t recall anyone on this board actually arguing that he should be one.

But he is a good athlete. I’m one who though we would - and still thinks we should - play Kiser more than we do. I think he’s at least equal if not better than Marist, and could perhaps spell Bertrand. I’m not clear why we play them so much and Kiser so little. But I am not Al Golden.

Agree. I think kiser is fine player. I see what marist can do that kiser can't, but I also see too many mental mistakes from marist. Kiser doesn't have betrands instincts, but he is more athletic. Betrand is just always a step late (actually was good vs louisville).

My comment on Millis was me directly referencing him grading out as a TOP 5 DL IN CFB (believe it was post Duke), to which I said "If he's that I do not understand DL grading".

And I stand by that 100. At the same time I admit I don't really look for him and he's not standing out naturally. Perhaps he's playing great and getting double teamed every time. So I don't feel I have a great read on his performance.

You're right about that (re 1st round), but then the majority on this board jumped in about how he was "way better than solid", and thay he'd showcase that when he runs a 4.50 at the combine (to which I said he's not going to the NFL combine). And yes it was combine, not ND pro day.

I'd consider them 1-2 in adversity tests, maybe 2-2 if you think about the weather delay at NC State. You're going to get faced with something more than once, especially with ND's schedule. Four ranked teams in a row for the first time in 23 years. Pitt, Wake Forest and every other dickhead team on the schedule is going to want to schedule a night game because it's their frigging Super Bowl.

I've been harping on penalties all year and it was the facemask penalty on the UL punt that ultimately pivoted the game. It just doesn't make sense how nothing seems to align. The kicker booms a couple, the pass defense was great as usual but every other aspect sucked.
