Is it possible at anytime during the off season or whenever for the public to take a tour of Notre Dame stadium specfically the famous stairwell with the "play like a champion today" sign?

Is it possible at anytime during the off season or whenever for the public to take a tour of Notre Dame stadium specfically the famous stairwell with the "play like a champion today" sign?

just a personal dream of mine....

it is very difficult to get in there from what i understand. my dad, who was a fencer (class of '69), convinced a security guard to let him in, saying he was such and such fullback from the late sixties, and he was wearing his letter jacket, so the guard thought he was legit and gave him access. i've never been in there, but i've never tried, either...

although i would love to go in there, i dont necessarily think they should let anyone in. i mean that place is sacred, where many greats have been and passed through. to just let any person go in and touch the play like a champion today sign, i think it would lose a certain amount of mystique. plus if anyone could go in there, you have to think about all the jackasses who would try to steal something, even if there was security inside.

yeah im sure if you have some cash, escpecially in this day and age, you can get to go in there. im sure ther are some alumni that take their friends in there also.
