Little iPod Help

ok so here's the story. at the beginning of summer, i took my ipod golfing with me and put it in my golf bag. it was sunny all day so when i got home, i just left my golf bag outside for the time being. so i go inside and lay down for like 10 minutes and all of a sudden, it's raining like hell outside and when i got to my ipod, it was too late.

so i started steve's ipod fund and got enough money to get it. i put it off for a little bit and it looks like that was a good thing because i was gonna get the same 30 gig that i had but now they re-named it the ipod classic and for the same price as the old 30 gig, the ipod classic has 80 gigs for the same price. so my question to you guys after all of this is...........

Black or Silver????????

Silver. It doesn't show scratches like the black one does.

Get a Zune, I love mine. Although the 80 GBs does sound really nice. Lots of space = movies.

i thought about the scratches thing, but i'm planning on getting a nice clear case for it so it shouldn't scratch up as much. another thing i was thinking about is that i do put movies on it like all those notre dame highlight videos and the black ipod would be better for watching movies than the silver one.

another thing though is that my old one was black and i left it in the rain and my buddy has gotten two black ipods stolen. is that an omen?

go for black if youre getting a case...i have silver but it looks to much like the white screen compared to the black one. then again i dont have that type of ipod so just take that for my 2 cents
