Wow. That was clever. I wonder why nobody came up with that before. As for Wilson:

1.) The fate of ND (or OSU, etc.) does not rest on any one recruit.

2.) Always expect that they're not coming, and always act like you don't care if they do. Showering them with this kind of love just feeds their ego and perpetuates this damned press conference malarky.

Remember Lorenzo Booker? In a couple more years nobody else will either.

Take this for what it's worth... but I was listening to an Indy sports radio station on my drive home and Wilson's name got mentioned when they were talking about that WR I mentioned earlier.

The commentator, he isn't a regular and I moved in about the middle said that he heard Wilson is on his way to South Bend. Again, I don't know who this is, but they were on ESPN 950.

An Ohio State University Board claims Wilson is going to tOSU. However, I would love to have him, he would likely see the field earlier at ND, and we need another DE.

I don't think anybody outside his family really knows. But we will all know by Thursday, regardless.

Who knows. I've been hearing the "insiders" on Buckeye planet and Bucknuts say he's a silent commit to ohio state.

Man I hope we get him, I think those "insiders" are a bunch of phony's taking a wild guess, saying he's a silent committ. 50/50 odds, of it being a right guess.

Most of us didn't really think he was coming anyways, especially with the Bucknuts' insiders claiming that he had long been a silent commit to tOSU and was just using ND to generate publicity for himself (and if you don't like that interpretation, bring it up with the Ohio State posters, because they're the ones that said it).

I am not disappointed. We have 15 signers, just as we've been saying we would for the past month. What is there to be disappointed about? Frankly, I question the personality of many of Willingham's recruits.

I'm really hoping some more stuff about Nelson's apparent hissy-fit comes out.

yeah, i had no anticipation of expecting wilson to come to notre dame. i have been happy with this class because turkovich, and duncan signed. we needed those guys bad.

Not with the class Rip rap. I like the class but was just disappointed about Wilson AND Roche committing else where.
