MISSION VIEJO, Cal. (October 8, 2005) --- Recognized as one of the top football players in the nation, Konrad Reuland of Mission Viejo, Cal., has been named a 2006 U.S. Army All-American. Reuland will join a stand-out list of athletes playing in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
The classic East vs. West match-up will be played and televised on NBC January 7th at 11:00 p.m. (PST) and will feature the top 78 prep football student-athletes in the country.
Konrad Reuland (6-6/240) of Mission Vieho High School is the #2 ranked Tight End in the nation according to Scout.com. He is considering Notre Dame, Stanford, USC, California, Miami, Ohio State, and UCLA among others.

"One of the best pass-catching tight ends to come out of California in the past decade, Konrad has great size and speed and catches everything thrown to him, while being a mismatch every time he goes out," according to Chris Fetters of Scout.com.
Reuland is a standout tight end at Mission Viejo High School and was one of 400 players nominated nationally and one of 78 selected to participate by the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selection Committee.
