Agreed...however he did not fumble. If he was in there for the USF game and fair catched the punt the Theo fumbled....possible we get a W. Just a thought.

If Ben Turk is the best punter the team has, then that is a serious problem that needs to be corrected by any means possible. He's absolutely killing this team with his incompetence at the position. He's not the only reason this team is losing, but he's a pretty important piece of the puzzle.

Good point. I would take a loss on a punt or two over a fumble in our own side of the field when trying to fair catch.

This is pretty bad, considering we're almost last in average yards per punt and there was a punter yesterday that actually had -4 yards on an attempt

It's impossible there's not a better punter than Ben Turk on campus. I'm sure the female soccer team has a few that can do a better job!

In Turks defense the one he boomed got terrible coverage and they brought it out to around the 40 I think.

I assume Brindza has longer punts, but I'd also bet that Turk is simply more consistent. A bad, bad situation there.

I completely agree with Kelly saying that there are too many good things going on for this team not to break through. I just hope they are ready to slug it out next Saturday, Lord knows they are built to destroy MSU's type of offense.
