Since Kamara was the WR that Clausen worked with thru out the srping and camp. Do you think Kamara will start at least he 3rd spot since both of these guys probably know eachother on the field more than anyone else? It would be smart to get Kamara in there so that Clausen knows he has that "security blanket" to throw to only because they have been working together so much. But there is always Carlson down the middle.

I don't see it. Parris has evidently been doing really well (and obviously he looked good on Saturday), and Grimes and West have to be ahead of him as well, so no I don't see it.

i expect to see Kamara as Wr # 4 but i think that Kamara WILL be on the field in the red zone even if there is only 1 or 2 reciever sets.... Just a guess tho... im not Charlie

I also think that jsut becuse he is # 4 doesnt mean that he wont be on the field... I could expect to see him on the field early and often

Parris had the best game of all the WR's Saturday. I don't think WR's are the problem, but the QB was. Now that we have Jimmy there the future is bright.

I am really pleasently surprised with our receivers this year, I really came into the season expecting close to nothing of theese guys and they really have alot more depth than I expected. But on that note I don't think Duval has proved himself enough to dethrone West, Grimes, or Parris. I don't see it happening.

Where did this information come from? Is this true? I never heard anything like that and I've been following the practices pretty closely. According to most reports, all the QB's got time with the first team and the second/third teams. It was definitely even in the spring, so that's out. And in the fall, Clausen has mainly been on a day, off a day in terms of throwing because of his rehab, so it's hard to imagine he prefers any certain receivers over others. I think we should just trust the coaches on who the best receivers are to give us a chance to win. I don't think you really got anything going with this Clausen/Kamara angle, except maybe a man-crush on Kamara.

Actually Charlie said it in one of his press conferences. He said that Jones and Sharpley had a guy to throw to for each team. On Clausens team, him and kamara we a tandem. If I find the presser I will post it.

I have a TOTAL man crush on Johnny Carlson, and I'm not afraid to admit it. Those blond, curly locks, a 3.9 GPA ... oh what a man.

I dont think any of our WR's did too much to seperate themselves from the pack. Lets all be realistic and judge them from the actual in game situations and not base them on practice.

Rec Yds Avg Lng TD FumL
R. Parris 3 30 10.0 12 0 0
G. West 2 29 14.5 20 0 0
J. Carlson 3 29 9.7 12 0 0
D. Kamara 2 19 9.5 11 0 0
W. Yeatman 1 10 10.0 10 0 0
D. Hord 1 5 5.0 5 0 0
D. Grimes 1 4 4.0 4 0 0
J. Jabbie 1 3 3.0 3 0 0
A. Allen 1 1 1.0 1 0 0

Why in the world would practice be irrelevant? I mean, obviously WE haven't seen much of them in practice, so if that's all you mean then okay. But I can promise you that, at least at this early point in the season, how they've performed in practice is what CW uses to set his depth chart.

Anybody find that presser info on Clausen/Kamara? I'm still interested. I'm not doubting, but I'd like to think I remember most things like that. If not, oh well, but it'd be nice to know :).
