Who do you think will fill Walkers spot in the backfield and do you think Charlie will be forced to have a commity to be productive. Your thoughts

Several things come to mind:
  1. Offensive line play
  2. Quarter back play and who the QB will be
  3. Who aret he Rbs and what are they good at
  4. what situation the offense is in
  5. who we are playing
this is all i can think of right now without explaing things to death but i think you get the picture.

oh yeah add injuries to that list as well.

I think it will be Aldridge or Thomas. Both are power runners and are big enough to carry the ball 20 or 30 times a game. I dont know who will start, neither have had a lot of game time for us to see. If i had to bet I'd pick Aldridge.
Will we see a committee? I dont think so, one back will get most of the carries, Weis prefers this. None of the backs have demonstrated great blocking or catching so there would be no reason to put them in on third downs. We may see Prince or Allen in the backfield occasionally to utilize their speed, but they wont start.

1) Aldridge
2) Thomas
3) Price

I personally think Thomas needs to move to FB...like RPN in 2005.

CW will ceate packages for all of them to utilize thier talent for different situations. Guys have faith, CW is a REAL coach and gameplanner. I am tired of hearing how he hasn't beat anyone, ther are at least 4 big games I can think of he one vs. the Rams, the Panthers, the Eagles, and the Bills. This guy is a proven winner, be patient and lets see what happens.
