Jim Rome

I like the guy. He's funny. Not a sycophant to guests. Irreverent. I remember when he got into a tussle with Ram QB Chris Everitt for calling him 'Chrissie'.

I'm not sure if I like the smackdown portion. Some are good, but others tend to drag on. Half the time I feel I could do better, but then, why waste the time. Just wondering what ya'll thought.

His show, "The Heard" is the freakin best!! He lovees to get on cfb fans too... calls us ALL out depending on the day, but he loves picking on tOSU fans... makes for hilarious radio when the fanbase in question calls in foaming at the mouth over a simple little comment he made... good stuff

It's a bunch of unemployed douche bags who sit up all night writing their "takes" and roll their asses out of bed in time to hold their puds while waiting for their "vine."

Yeah, Romey doesn't like to talk about that incident. He has some good interviews at times but he tends to pile on when an athlete does something politically incorrect & then when the athlete is back in vogue he'll get him on an interview & rave about what a great conversation it is. And the clones get real tiresome & feed his ego a bit too much...kinda like the ditto heads & Rush Limbaugh.

Love me some "Herd". Cowherd told it like it was last week in regards to NBC putting Olbermann on their f'ball studio show. He was just being honest about the fact that Olberman, as a baseball scholar, liberal elitist from NY, doesn't really match the NFL demo. He stressed that he liked Olberman & thought he was very intelligent & a walking encylcopedia when it comes to baseball history, but Keith had his ego bruised & showed it later that day on Dan Patrick's show. He kept saying, "Colin who?" & "what's this guy's name again". What an ass. I respect the guy's proven talent & intellect but he ain't as famous as he'd like you to believe.

I agree, I can't listen to Romey anymore & the Herd is all about some college football & makes some great points regarding all sports & their respective fans. Don't always agree w/ him, but love to listen to his theories & opinions.
