Jim Brown just bought a lacrosse team

Yes, that Jim Brown. NFL/Syracuse legend and unbeknownst to many one of the greatest lacrosse players ever. He's part of a group that just purchased the Long Island Lizards of the MLL. Some quotes from Brown:

"Not everyone knows this, but lacrosse has always been my favorite sport. I was an All American lacrosse player at Syracuse and our team went undefeated in my senior year. This sport is ready to explode and I am proud to be a part of it. I am passionate about the Lizards and plan to be at our next home game at Hofstra on Long Island, June 1st, one hour before the 7 p.m. game time, to meet the fans. It will be a bit of a homecoming for me and I am excited beyond words."

What Jim fails to leave out is why it's his favorite sport.........that lax stick came in handy duirng many a domestic disputes.

He's the reason that there is the rule against carrying the ball between the head and your body. Dude would just plow people over with the ball trapped to himself.
