I will say ND 24 scUM 16. After falling behind early 7-0 the Irish defense rallies and holds off three more scoring drives and limits them to only field goals. ND gets 1 rushing touchdown and two through the air and also add a field goal.

I hate to even say this because I have to watch the game at my brother-n-laws who is a HUGE Mich fan...Mich 24 vs. ND 21...ND has a chance to tie it in the final minutes on 4 and 3 from the 30 yard line. WEis has no faith in our FG kicker and we get stuffed on some lame play call...like a WR screen!!!!

gosh darn right its mich week baby, all sdsu talk should be buried and lets focus on the skunkbears.

1. i think mich will be taking us a little lightly after our showing against sdsu and that will be a sad mistake.

2. the blowout was there last week if that bad fumble call was overturned and kamara puts some pine tar on his gloves, not too mention the field goal debacles. thats at least 13 points we left on the field with a possibility of more.

3. although the talent level will jump signifigantly from sdsu to mich, i think our focus and determination on revenge will play a big role, and its mich you gotta figure we will be more pumped to play this game than last week.

overall i think mich will make it interesting in the first half and we'll eventually wear them down and pull away 28 - 10 ND

1) If we lose, moving vans might show up at Charlie's house

2) Recruiting- Most important game for the year with all the visits

3) We must gain back some national respect.

i really think this team still has a chance to be good, i mean we had to wait an extra week while everyone else was playing and sdsu got beat by cal poly i think it is hard to get up for a game like that, we had the big head coming in and sdsu made us pay. this week will be different, we are playing a huge rival that we got shut out by last year, i think emotions will be high and mich will give a good fight but we have a better chance than everyone is giving us,

This game scares me, Michigan stumbled in the first game, but that was against a spread team. In the second half when Utah left the spread to play more conservative, Michigan almost rallied back. Michigan beat a respectable Miami OH team and will have some confidence coming in on saturday.
All that being said, it is a home game, and it's michigan so I'm picking the Irish though I can see it going either way.

I have been reading some scUM boards, the consensus over there is it will be difficult for ND to score at all, so alot of 24-3 predictions. Personally I dont think scUM's day is that good or our offense is that bad. 17-13 Irish.

I have to think we are going to be a lot more pumped up for this game than we were for SDSU. Plus, I think the confidence gained in the snagging the first win from the jaws of defeat will be huge.

Ok seriously...Notre Dame 28 - Michigan 24. I think that as has been said, we will have had the chance to review our mental game from SDSU and we will come out with a vengeance ready to play some football! Notre Dame, our Mother, pray for us!

I believe that Hughes/Aldridge will bust through on some tough rush yards. It'd be nice to see #34JA get at least SOME pt this week. Kumara will make up for wk 2 with 3-4 rec and a td. Golden tate will improve upon his game from wk 2 as well. Don't see why Grimes won't have another 5-6 carries/receptions for 40+ yards.

I'm going to stay positive here regarding #7JC. I'm hoping...and praying that he settles down a bit. I agree that our passing game has not allowed our guys much time after getting their hands on the ball...period. It'd be nice to see us expand our patterns just a tad. Not much you can do with GO all day long.

Keeping my fingers crossed. Would much rather be in our situation for wk 3 than what OSU is up against. As I have said before, while ethically I CANNOT cheer for the Buckeyes...I will certainly entertain myself as a sympathetic supporter for their cause against USC this weekend.
