I was surfing the web to see if OSU has any kind of forum like we do..I stumbled across http://forums.the-ozone.net/ and found this artical...

I have always liked and admired the Irish, but those feelings are rapidly eroding. I respect their program's history, the coaching staff and the players. Their success this year is outstanding. However...the arrogance of the postings I see on the domer boards is simply breathtaking. They constantly denigrate all OSU academic programs, both undergrad and grad. They truly believe they are among the top 5 or 10 universities in academic and research in the country. That, my friend, is delusional. I agree that, on average, the typical domer undergrad had a higher GPA and SAT score than the typical OSU undergrad. But the overall size and scope/depth of OSU academics and research, especially at the graduate law, medicine, MBA, DDS, DVM, and engineering is superior at OSU. Both universities excel in their own fashion. OSU will never be inferior to ND re academics.
I greatly respect a ND degree, but they certainly don't teach humility in South Bend. Their intellectual elitism even spreads to their opinion of their coach, C. Weiss. The domers believe that he will review film and completely astound us with new ideas, formations, coaching versatility, and player motivation. All the while, Tressel will sit there dumbfounded while reviewing the Irish films. I don't mind football smack talk, but the domers consider us dimwits who blindly cheer on our beloved Buckeyes. They (well, the majority of them) truly believe that they are our intellectual superiors and we Buckeyes are just inbred Ohio idiots. I will not use this upcoming game to show that we are just as smart as they are. They very well may beat us on the field (although that's doubtful), but I don't feel inferior to any domer intellectually. Football is not a proxy for educational excelence. I have an MD from OSU and an MBA from the Univ. of Chicago. My education at OSU was outstanding. I just expected a little more class from the Irish. I guess I shouldn't be dissapointed. Anyone else feel like me?
sorry bud we don't feel the same...
