And I'm also sure he'd accept all comers, be it on the field or in the ring.

You're not kidding. I had a few moments last night and perused their scout board. Wow. They don't want to beat us. They hate us. Yes, other fans hate us. Call us arrogant, irrelevant, etc. No, they hate us. I guess it's a southern thing.

Oh, and they fully expect to win this game. They don't think they can. They think they will.

I agree that GT is dangerous, but this game is starting to smell like Pitt last season. Their fans were practically foaming at the mouth by kickoff. Man, I hope I'm not off on that one.

I'm starting to be more and more glad that I abandoned any idea of driving to Atlanta to catch that game. I would've been there alone, deep behind enemy lines, and the Tech fans seem to get more and more rabid with each passing day.

By the time the 3rd quarter ends and we're up 56-3, things are gonna be UGLY up in those stands.

you know what?that would be awesome if we were up that much.A much better jaw dropper then the purdue game last year.Plus,it would get non-starters some ample playing time early in the year.

I couldn't agree more, but I also couldn't care less about the jab. Football games aren't won on jabs like this one. Although, boxing matches could be won with jabs.

Tech believes they can win the game because they have a good (not good enough to stop the Irish offense) defense, and a guy named Charles Johnson. They saw how poor our defense played at times (espically against the pass) last season. They figure they will just throw it up and he'll go get it. We'll see how well that works out for them soon enough. Let's play ball.
