The part of this video that really caught my attention was when Lou says "in 1986 no one thought Notre Dame would ever win again."

I don't know about you guys but I've had thoughts like these sneak into my head from time to time over the past year or so. Will Notre Dame ever get back to the place we used to be and compete for NC's? Is this were we are and we just have to settle for mediocrity? I for one was unaware that in 1986 fans thought the Irish were done in as I was only 4 at the time. I guess this video just gave me some hope and inspiration that the Irish will rise again and I wanted to share it with any of you out there who may be a little down.

goosebumps! i would have no problem putting my body on the line for that man. he is a special motivator and a leader of young men. hopefully we will get back to the essence of what lou holtz brought to nd after notre dame had been left for dead and put out to pasture.
