Appears on the Rivals ND offer list. Already verballed to Mississippi in late January.

6-3, 251 from Batesville, MS with a 4.6- 40 time. This is the second guy in a week that has verballed early to another school and ND has made an offer to...according to this site anyway.

If these guys do have offers, what is going on? Why are they offering verbals from other schools and not Myles Wade or Golden Tate and others?

And with Paskorz verballed, the linebacking is half done now.

Things will get interesting this month. Trattou's annoncment, the camp, Marc Tyler...business is going to pick up.

Remember what Charlie has said since he was hired, if I see someone that I want to come to Notre Dame to play football, I will ask them if they have serious interest or not, so that we are not wasting each other's time.

I am speculating that both Chris Strong and Bradley Stevens have indicated to Charlie that they are interested.

Or recruiting sites want to rush to put a story out as "breaking news." I'm not sure on either one, to be honest. A few weeks ago, the offer lists were completely overhauled. There were names taken off left and right.

you make a great point, why are we offering people who have already verballed to other schools and have not offered great talents such as Tate and Wade?

Eh, you're only saying that because we havn't really won a verbaled prospect (well, Munir Prince is the one exception that comes to mind).

Some guys will lose some enthusiasm for a school once they've been committed for a while and that opens the door for us to come in. The odds are often against us, but the reward is too great to ignore.

If it is Chris Strong, the kid is probably from South Panola HS...Talk about a team full of D-1 talent. I have never seen a team as big as them in my life.

Again...Golden Tate, not going to get an offer, because he is not as good as touted.

Rivals has confirmed that it was Chris Donald and NOT Chris Strong.
