I was wrong about Clemson. I thought ND would wilt, like they have in many big games prior. But this one was different. I thought ND would struggle thru the air. Book was tremendous. He wasn't perfect, but he played the best I have ever seen him play. He deserves that game ball.

I was wrong about Tommy Rees in this game. I thought BV would one up him all game long. The 3rd quarter was bumpy, but he had enough wrinkles and didn't ask Book to do anything he couldn't. He was great last night.

I was wrong about BK in this one. They players were loose and were ready. Honestly, I have not seen the team this focused since the OU game in 2012. It was great to see. Here is hoping the big game prep has turned the corner.

I thought the player of the game was Kyren though. That dude made some serious cash last night.

Tip of the cap to Polian too. I thought it was fantastic what they did in return coverage.

Lastly, games like this have not come around often for ND fans. I loved it. I hope this is the final stepping stone for the program. That win will bring lots of deserved attention. I hope they don't waste it....they have worked too hard.

Bro no need for being contrite b/c 99% of ND fans were worried about Book’s ability to lead his team to their biggest win in over a quarter century. The other 1% is lying.

I think we can all echo your sentiments. All we fans had to go on was the first six games of the season where Book struggled to get the offense rolling. This was supposed to be a new year where Book would be taking the reins for his third year as the leader of the offense. He’s a two-time captain & team MVP so we all thought 2020 was when he put it all together.

It took him seven games but he couldn’t have picked a better game to do it. Now the challenge is to do it five more times b/c the 2nd half of the schedule is far less forgiving than those first six games.
