How lucky we are to have gotten BK when we did. Imagine if we waited another year. UF Miami Pitt and possibly Michigan would all be lookin for coaches. I think he would be a good fit at UF Miami and Michigan for sure.

BK is Irish Catholic and the ND position was his dream job.... One has to beleive that he would choose ND over all of those other schools....

This is pointless, bc we already have him at the helm!!

Go Irish!

I would like to hear from all those who wanted him fired last October.
They could point out that their dream guy, Myers, is available now.

Brian Kelly has 5 years to make it happen. I wouldn't think it was crazy for a 51 year old Urban Meyer to consider Notre Dame if BK fails (Don't want him to fail).

BK is a much better fit for ND than Meyer. Meyer's players have no discipline.

I understand we already have him. I am not saying he is going anywhere. I am just making a point that there are now other big high profile jobs out there that we would have had to compete with. And yeah it was his dream, it was Urban Meyers as well, neither you, nor I, know for a fact that he would or wouldn't have chosen ND over those other schools.

All I am saying is that I am thankful for the timing of our whole change.

Just to play devil's advocate, his players seemed pretty disciplined when he was at Utah. I agree that we don't want Florida Urban ever, but I think that, in this case, the shoe might be able to change to fit the foot.

Maybe I am selling my soul, but I would take Florida Urban Meyer any day of the week. Don't hate on him because he left us at the alter in '05. He won over 80% of his games (in the SEC) and has 2 NC. Don't get me wrong guys I love BK, but everyone in the country but us thought leaving an undefeated Cincy before the biggest bowl game in the history of the school was a pretty big "SCUMBAG" move.

You got a source for that? Most people in the country don't know where our coach came from, or they are jealous they didn't get him.
