I thought we would beat a lot of teams this year....Purdue...MSU....BC....Navy....Air Force....I have been wrong on every single one of them!

So, in a desperate attempt to appeal to universal karma and any other new-age fad you can come up with, I am now expecting ND to lose to Duke and Stanford...(not really...hell, in my dellusional blue and gold world, I honestly walked into the satdium for the USC game thinking we could beat USC that day!)

In the end, I agree that this year is far beyond salvage...the estimate is back and its been totalled....but a two-game win streak to hit the off-season is waaaaay better than a 6-game losing streak and having to hear all summer abour how Weis and the Irish have lost 13 of their last 14 games....(cold shudder just ran down my spine....)
