You would still be tied douchebags.

Stanford fans are smart enough to realize that. It's the rest of the CFB world that blames the refs for their loss.

I'm actually one of the coaches. I coach HS and his 1st grade youth team. He plays center and DL/LB. Unfortunately, he inherited his father's speed and the youth game is all about who can get to the edge first. All the fast kids play RB/DB and the slower kids play the line. He's doing well though. It's fun.

Yeah at that age its not much technique involved. I wish there was a younger league here but it starts at peewee and when I was that age I wasn't huge into playing football. I hope to get into some coaching though.

Same here. The earliest I could play was 10 years old. They expanded to lower age groups in my town a few years ago.

I was going to wait with him until he was older but this spring he started talking about playing. His tee-ball coaches were also coaching this team so I trusted them and he showed interest, then they asked me to coach. I was scared of burnout but talked to a lot of people before deciding to let him try it.

I got into coaching HS a few years ago and love it. Today was actually the worst day I had coaching at the HS level (got into it with the HC and lost my temper on a kid). But overall it's been a great experience.

What's stopping you from coaching?

Mostly work. Alot of teams have practices after work so about 4-6 pm and I currently work 9-6 so if I could get a different job where I get off earlier I would definitely be signing up to coach.

Saskatchewan. Big football market here. Kind of known as the Texas of Canada when it comes to football.

Yea, I'm pretty familiar with Canadian football. Some tough players coming out of there. Not the same amount as Ontario or Quebec due to population, but the interest there is definitely more similar to what you see in the US.

1. Should have stayed for another year.

2. Dude cant get right.

3. System QB

4. Hype crushed him ala Ron Powlus.

5. Dude straight sucks.

#1. If he stays for another year he doesn't get buried behind Cam Newton, he gets drafted in the 1st round and is the starting QB in Tennessee (Jake Locker), Jacksonville (Blaine Gabbert) or Minnesota (Christian Ponder).

I just turned on the MSU-W. Michigan replay while knocking back some porter. I already saw that one handed INT by one of MSU's DB's, which was incredible. But still, only a 26-13 win for Sparty? They should have steamrolled this barely FCS team. It probably bodes well for the Irish.

I say #1. If him and Tate stayed for their senior seasons I think they both would have dominated especially with Floyd and Rudolph both back as juniors and Allen and Gray running the ball. Would have been awesome to watch that offense.

Dont forget Hughes. IIRC Amarndo Allen was out of eligibility when Kelly took over.

He had a FU attitude when the ball was in his hands.

The 2010 offense would have been ridiculous with Golden, Floyd, Clausen, Rudolph, Hughes, Wood, and Gray all being able to play. Say what you will about his defensive coordinator hires but Weis could recruit offensive talent.

Just a little over 12 hours left.

Staying awake as long as possible... less time waiting for game to start lol

I feel you haha...just finished watching Rudy (tradition before every season opener) and now I'm thinking about napping and waking up for Gameday. Nothing like the first Saturday full of college football.

The Vegas spread on the Irish against Temple is almost 30 points. I feel it will be less; not because we can't dominate, but because Kelly wants to give a lot of different offensive players touches. And he probably wants to run as much as possible, so that will lower scoring opportunities. Just my $.02.

I'm excited to see Jaylon Smith, our next All-American.

I'm also here to see both our offensive and defensive lines win the trench battles. We will break down Temple.
