1. we need to contain mcknight best we can....kind of bend but don't break attitude

2. get pressure on barkley and pummel 'im every chance we get.

3. establish a good rythm on offense and get the running game going.

4. get the ball into tate's hands.

5. get the ball into rudolph's hands in the red zone.

6. like mentioned above, special teams need to extend the playing for them, hopefully giving us a more shortened field.

7. tackle, tackle, tackle and knock the stuffin' out that egg mcmuffin.

Yeah i do suppose the basic fundementals is a bit redundant, and your right, it isn't so "BASIC", but the point I was trying to make was WE CAN make the tackles if these guys, go back to the basics and remember how it is that they even had the opportunity to play ELITE collee football. Players who can't do the basic fundementals, don't get that opportunity. They can DO IT, they just need to focus on it!!

Just saying, who's been better the last 15 years than us? These have been pretty much the worst 15 years in ND history and the only teams who have really been "better" than us over that time are USC, Ohio State, Michigan, Oklahoma, Texas, Nebraska, Florida, LSU, Miami, Florida State, Virgina Tech. Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Auburn have been pretty comparable. There's still some stuff to brag about...

They do get WR Ronald Johnson back for this game. Not sure how much difference it will actually make, but having him back could end up being the difference between their offense being average, and being very good.
