How in the name of fuck is it possible for Usc to only fall 7 spots to #8 in the new AP poll???? They lost to freeking Oregon State people. They should have dropped a helluva lot further than that. Florida dropped to #12 and Georgia fell to #11.

In my honest opinion Usc should have dropped to 15th and Florida should be around 18th after that embarrassment at home. Georgia lost to a good Bama team who is now #2.

and by the way, We arent even close to sniffing the top 25. Were not even in honorable mention. I'm surprised Michigan isnt ranked after this debacle of the new top 25!!!!

it's usc, they won't fall far but their schedule will kill them from here on out.... Florida, UGA, OU, Mizzou, Penn St., LSU and mabe a few others will have to lose twice for USC to be above them in the final polls when SOS starts playing into it

that's true. ranked schools are starting the conf schedule soon and that will start to shake things up. too many schools have yet to be tested. if we make it to 5-1, the win over unc should push us into the top 25.

USC only falling to 8 is a travesty. I think so many top 10 schools losing yesterday helped them in a big way. The memory of the other losses were fresher which probably affected the voting a little.

i agree. one game at a time. it's not where you're ranked right now but where you're ranked late in the season. we keep playing like the 2nd half and improving we'll be fine.

Most people are taking the wait and see approach, especially after laying an egg at MSU after the big win against Michigan. They have to be more consistent and do it against better competition.

I wouldn't call it laying an egg, we played well enough to win that game, and MSU is hardly a pushover.

I hate to defend USC but they did beat the H%ll out of OSU which is overrated but they still destoryed a top 5 team. I would of like to see them drop to 10 but it did not happen. We should not be ranked in my opinion....we have not beat anyone yet. If we win the next (2) games then we should be a top 20 team!
