I consider ND Stadium to be the equivalent of Augusta National Golf Club. What new traditions have they implemented?

Terrible argument. Augusta National has become more commercialized than it ever has been. I.e. it's inclusion in the 2012 edition of Tiger Woods video game, which has never happened prior (except in an old computer game back in the 1980s) and increased TV coverage of the event, especially on Thursday and Friday of the tournament. This including following specific groups, covering Amen Corner exclusively, also set coverage of holes 15 and 16. They have streaming video from all over the course Thursday through Sunday now, that was no where near the case ten or fifteen years ago. The club knew it had to give more access to the event, due to the outlandish price it costs and low availability of passes to go to the actual tournament, they made some changes to create a better experience for people who cannot be there. This is part of the modern world we live in. ND is in the same boat, just with different specific issues.

Also went away from it's club-only caddies in the early to mid 1980s (1983, if I recall correctly).

This is what bothers me about these "traditional" arguments.

1. No one is changing the uniform. All it is, is a time switch for a one time game. I bet next year in Ireland they might switch it up too. ND will still wear the classic uniforms 8-9 times a year.

2. No one is destroying ND stadium. There is nothing traditional about field turf. It's not like the soil is composed of Jesus particles. It's just grass.
