Well tonight the boys host the Hoyas. It's gonna be a great match up!! The Irish must take care of the ball and play hard nose defense. If they do that, all will fall into place. Go Irish!!! See you guys in action Jan 24....

I dont think we will beat Georgetown. We can be that good if we lost to LOWLY St. Johns for christ sake. I never know what to expect from this team. One minute they can be beating a great team then the next day they lose to a shitty team. WTF.

I knew you would say something like this, haha, but I actually agree with you on this one. While I dont think the loss to SJU is the end of the world, even if they would have won that game I think the streak ends tonight. GTown is just not a good matchup for the Irish. Add that to the fact that the students are still on break, and I dont know what the atmosphere will be like tonight at the Joyce.

Then again every time I count them out, they prove me wrong, so who knows.

yeah... ND averages a little over 82 points a game... They scoreed 65 in the loss to St. John's. Harangody scored 28 points and 14 rebounds... The rest of the team failed on "doing their part"..... If both Harangody and Co. do their part.... ND will win...

So far Harangody is on fire! He has made some spectacular plays and shots. He is a stud.

We got Seton Hall today. I have a feeling that Notre Dame will open this game up. Once Hillesland's eye is healed, he'll be a mini"Hansbrough".....

Actually I am. I know we have won 45 in a row at home and what not but this is Uconn. We lost a few games ago to fucking St. Johns. Were too unpredictable and we have ZERO defense. Uconn wins fairly easily. Uconn 88 ND 76

SO what we lost to st. johns.....north carolina lost to b.c....... you're right about the defense issue. i know the streak will come to a end but its gonna be to a team at the bottom of the big east..

You know what? You're right. We probly will beat all the great teams at home and probly lose to a bottom feeder. Were known for that crap. lol

I think we need to focus on Louisville and Syracuse before we even think about UCONN. Plus I am driving the 6 hours from Pittsburgh on the 24th so we better not lose to the Huskies!!!

Louisville is a 6.5 pt favorite. Lets hope the boys are up for it tonight. We have to get off to a good start. Last year they blitzed us early down there and it took a miraculous second half comeback just to make it look close.

I am concerned about the minutes some of these guys are playing. Harangody played 39 minutes against Seton Hall. We need someone to come in and give him a rest otherwise I think some of these guys will start to wear down. The Big East is tough enough as is.

I know.... What would happen if Luke went down? There is not one player on that team that could take his spot. It's really sad because the majority of the big east teams have a 1..2.. punch in the post. I would like to see hillesland step up... he's one of those guys that plays with pure adrenaline.

If Luke went down, I'll tell you exactly what would happen...we'd shoot 3 pointers each and every time we got the ball past half court. We'd be so one dimensional that we'd probably lose more games than we'd win

Gosh... Last nights games was very diegusting.... Sloppy!!!! Why on earth did the refs let the guys play the entire game and then with less than 6 mniutes left they get whistle happy...?wtf.... Again great game by Luke.... too bad Kyle was locked up all game.

Kyle still had 19 points, not bad for a guy who was being mugged all night. This loss was disappointing because it could have been won. It should have been won. BUT, Louisville is the most athletic team we will face all year. I am not saying they are the best team, but no one on our schedule matches their athleticism. We struggle with teams who are significantly more athletic than us, and we played them tooth and nail, just ran out of gas in OT.

Keep in mind we were also underdogs, so there is no shame in this one.

Got my tickets yesterday for the UCONN game. I was told to treat these tickets like as if they were ND vs. USC tickets...

I am sure this is too late. If of you are going to the gameday set and or the game, please post what it was like. I am sitting here at work otherwise I would be there. I am hopping the fans will show up and the irish to win big.
